Hi,

I have an Intel GMA 4500MHD graphic card. Though it is an integrated card, it is a relatively fast one, and acceleration is enabled:

$ glxinfo|grep render
direct rendering: Yes
OpenGL renderer string: Mesa DRI Mobile IntelĀ® GM45 Express Chipset GEM 20090712 2009Q2 RC3

There might be a software problem, because when I start foldit it outputs:

freeglut Unable to create direct context rendering for window ''
This may hurt performance.

I guess solving this would greatly help. Let me know if I can help further. I have an amd64 system (with 32 bits compatibility libraries).

lspci output:

00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 4 Series Chipset Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 07)
Subsystem: Hewlett-Packard Company Device 30e8

00:02.1 Display controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 4 Series Chipset Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 07)

Keep up the great work!

(I had to assign to someone randomly to be able to submit at all)
