Hi, fyi.

The puzzle 214 shows player MARK- as having the highest Evolver score. around 10722 points

I don't believe Mark- is in a Team environment where to evolve a team mates puzzle recognises the teams effort. thus the SOLO and EVOLVER status we set for each arena.

Is this a BUG ? or has Mark- found a creative way to engage the fold.it rankings?

One suggestion was that he was once part of a team, but left. although It is not easily determined from the information available to us via the fold.it website.

Would someone please explain why this is possible? or perhaps fix the error in the software that allows this to occur. this surely can't be possible otherwise anyone would be able to fix the scores and ranks as they go.

thanks.

Aot.

One possibility:

Mark played off line and then "evolved" his own off-line solution, which does not come with the author tag.

This was suggested in global chat. it's the first time i've seen this happen. i'm sure there is a good explanation. would be nice to know more as i'm sure many people have played offline before. Chur Chur.

I think, he has evolved a solution first, then quit the team, and loaded this solution into the guide, and found the same or similar solution as soloist.

Yes, these are all possible scenarios for getting an evolver score without being on a team. I looked into it and the score appears to be correct.
