I tried posting this already but it didn't show up, so I am re-posting.
It would be helpful to have alternative options to the white background- black would be good. The light background hurts my eyes after a while.

How about NO background while wiggling?
It would look strange (like in Ego-Shooters, when going "outside" the map), but could increase computation speed.

Why stop at black? Maybe a color mixer window added under the View tab could let you set any background color you want.
