We are a team of like-minded individuals, a loosely associated group of soloists, interested in discovering and learning new methods, ideas, and philosophies about folding, delving into the science, and doing things a little differently. We don't have a hierarchy; there are no dedicated soloists or evolvers, or even a team 'captain'. We possess a range of experience and ability; and we all recognize that each of us can 'bring something to the table'. We encourage discussion and questions; and all are free to express themselves. We play our own soloist games in our own way; but if someone finds a killer move or particular sudden success, we post it for the benefit of the group, detailing what we did to get there and how we worked the structure.

If you have been playing for awhile with some success and now want to work with others to find out how to maximize your potential, or if you have clawed your way up the listings as an individual and would like to share your experience and techniques with some like-minded people, then Contenders could be the place for you. We have a number of established and experienced players who are ready, willing, and able to help you grow as a folder.
