When I put try to attach two segments together with a rubber band, it often looks like it snapped on okay. But when I rotate the view, I find that it didn't and is attached to empty space. It would be nice if there was some notification when your bands snap to a protein segment, like maybe a sound or a color change.

Maybe a simple sound effect would do it. I'll see if I can add that in.

Sound would be okay but a color change would be better as the information presentation persists.

You can see attached and unattached bands ata a glance.

If you prefer a color change I wouldn't change the color of the rubber band itself but the color of the backbone segment(s) where the band is attached to. I think pink would be a good idea, the same color as the rubber band.

a sound and a corresponding color change in the rubber band would be nice.

Okay, I've added sound effects (just reusing the lock sounds for rubber bands) and that should be in the beta soon.

Let me know how that works for you and I'll start thinking about what might be done on the visual side of things.
