Upon startup FoldIt connects to the remote servers and then crashes with a segmentation fault.
This is the current version of FoldIt running on ArchLinux
A possible cause for this could have been FoldIt complaining at startup about not beeing able to play [the startup-] sound:
open /dev/[sound/]dsp: Device or resource busy
(yeah, I know this sounds weird but maybe it helps)
p.s. is the source code available somewhere?
I could compile the program myself and try to debug it.
Still far away form open source :)
