First off, this client has the wrong release date, it is supposed to be the latest january devprev release, now we cannot distinguish between the releases.

I received a breakpoint exception, causing all clients to fail.
Picture (hopefully attached).

No details in the log about it.

And you need to FIX the image upload mechanisma as it simply does not work properly. Firefox should be able to use it.

This issue is likely caused by a memory leak. Client memory usage gradually rises to over 1560 Mb per client, eventually crashing.

And a more sublte explanation, the total memory consumed by all clients and the regular Windows requirement exceeeded the installed memory of my system. Seemingly no memory leak IN the client fortunately. But very high memory usage.

well, they reached over 1680 Mb, thus they did crash individually. Please do check for memory leaks.

On the website issues, a couple of thoughts.

The image upload mechanism has been broken for a long time now. (However, there must be some alternate way to upload images, since blog posts still have images.)

The new website will probably allow images again. Meantime, sites like imgur.com or imgbb.com let you upload images for sharing. Also, you're welcome to create a new page on the Foldit wiki, for example "Bletchley Park bug list". The new version of the wiki software makes it easy to upload multiple images.

Attempts to upload images here produce orphan nodes like this one: https://fold.it/portal/node/2011043

On the actual crash, some more great ideas.

I've seen video card issues cause all clients to crash. I was trying out a new laptop last week, and had this happen again. The laptop had both integrated Intel graphics and a separate NVIDIA graphics card. Some glitch caused the NVIDIA card to reset, and all Foldit clients crash. You may also see the icons on your Windows desktop move around. Most applications seem to weather the storm, only Foldit crashes.

There may be clues in the event log when this happens. See the previous example Windows clients crash after Desktop Window Manager event, where an Application log event from dwm.exe and a System log event from "Display" appeared near the time of the crash. Unfortunately, I didn't really investigate this latest crash on the new laptop.

I thought the underlying issue was fixed, since I haven't seen any similar problems on my old laptop or desktop in a few years now. But evidently it's still lurking.

Loci, thank you for your suggestions.

I have watched the memory usage of the clients and eventually they will grow to 1680 Mb and they will crash one by one. The previous main (of which I have a copy on a different machine) also shows that growth but slower. Videocards are not involved in this issue.
