E-mail notification of private messaging not working?

Checking the "My Messages" tab shows a new private message in the inbox. However no email notification was sent out, even though the radio button for requesting email notification was selected.
I just sent a Foldit e-mail and got the message below:
Messages
Unable to send e-mail. Please contact the site administrator if the problem persists.
A message has been sent to xxx
So did the message get sent or not?
I got the above message a few minutes ago when sending Foldit e-mails to georg137 and tokens.
Has anyone been able to successfully send/receive e-mails since the move to Amazon?
tokens successfully received the Foldit e-mail I sent today,
but I haven't seen any notification at my non-Foldit e-mail
address about it.
I received jeff's foldit message (I didn't reply to it), but I didn't get any email notification about the message, which I should have gotten.
I an also getting the same message AND also an completion error as I type in who I am sending to.
We've verified this bug exists and are currently looking into it. Thank you for the reports!

Weird - it's working for me. Can you send me exact steps of what you did (as well as who the to: and from: are?)
Is anyone else still experiencing the issue?

I'm getting this error message, but it's also preventing me from completing registration. No new accounts can be created. I've tried three, and can't log into the game-- it won't send the email (I'm supposing for verification).
Developer is looking into these issues, but as noted in the other thread if you need me to reset your password, just mail me and we can do that for the time being!
Alright, I *think* this is fixed. Let me know if anyone has any more email-related issues.
Emails are being sent now. The sender shows up as "root" rather than as "Foldit" like it used to - makes the emails more likely to be overlooked or mistrusted.
I'll look into changing that
When I sent a private message recently (after the move to Amazon) it said that there was an error and it couldn't send an email notification.
