When I start the remix tool it tells me there are 20 solutions found. When I get to solution #6 I like the contact score so I quicksave it (I quicksaved two others before that). After I click the second + sign, while the quicksave icons are disappearing, the selected area moves and the contact score changes (I was not watching overall score). The tool says I am still looking at #6, but it is a different shape. I flip back and forth to #7, #6, #5, #6 etc. and each time I get to #6 it has a different contact score (it appears to be cycling between a small set of them, since I did see the one I wanted a few times as I flipped back and forth). After I stop the tool, when I check the quicksave, it does not have the contact score of the one I was looking at when I clicked quicksave - it saved a different solution than the one I was looking at.
So two problems, one with the non-static set of solutions, and one with quicksaving the wrong pose.
See shared solution "1227 changing remix solutions". Select segs 3-9. There should be 20 solutions, and solution #6 will keep changing as you flip back and forth.
Problem #3: In that same set of 20 solutions, it gives me a solution that is clearly impossible because two pieces of the selected backbone area overlap (solution #13).
There appears to be a bug in Rosetta's loop closure algorithm that's causing it to be non-deterministic, which is leading to these issues. I'm currently trying to track it down.
Alright, I've tracked down the issue. There should be a solution to make the results consistent in the next release. Thanks for the report!
