Berkeley: 1 Illinois: 0

After intense competition between scientific powerhouses, UC Berkeley finally pulled ahead of University of Illinois to win by a razor-thin 9,278 to 9,250. This means Berkeley is ahead 1-0 in our three game series. We're posting two more competition puzzles today which will BOTH end next Wednesday. The winning team must win 2 of the 3 puzzles. Congratulations to the members of both squads!
